The latest is based around the Boxter and is called the Boxter E. Now that's imagination. How do I start this preview? As I normally do, with the speed. It has a Brushless 29kwh Lithium Ion battery motor that produces 121bhp. It will wave goodbye to 60 after 9.8 seconds and 93mph is the top speed. I'm not a Porsche fan to be honest with you but I do like the Boxter. Unfortunately I couldn't imagine buying a Boxter and then only going 93mph.
Elsewhere the car is pretty much unchanged. The interior has all the gadgets it should have, the exterior is the same as the petrol car (mind you the exterior never changes) and all the stuff that keeps you on the road and going fast round the corners remains. I wouldn't buy the car if it went on sale but if you want an electric car then this is probably the best one yet.
There is just one thing I don't know about. It's the most important thing in an electric car (I know I say that a lot) and it's the range. I'll make a guess for you, probably no further than a 100 miles and I doubt it'll do that.
Sorry about the lack of a Friday Vlog this week but my Mum has gone on a break with her sister and she's using my camera that I use to record it. It's not late, as usual, it doesn't exist.
Thanks for reading. It's funny but when I look through the images from the blog section on the editor screen it's like I'm scrolling through automotive perfection.
