Pagani Huayra

Let's cut to the chase shall we? I don't know how to pronounce that name.

But the arrival of the Pagani unprouncable means that the Zonda is dead. The R marked the end of the Zonda and now Pagani make this.

The new car will at it's heart have a 6.0 litre AMG V12 engine producing a stunning 730bhp. That's roughly the same you get from the Zonda R. The engine also features 811lbs ft of torque. The total weight of the machine is just a little over 1300kg.

Pagani so far has said nothing in the way of how fast it'll go but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to realise this car is going to be fast, and I mean really fast. I would guess that 60mph will be done in 3.3 seconds and the top speed will be 227mph. They are my guesses.

What I don't need to guess is whether or not the car looks good. It does. Not in a shocking way like the Zonda was but in a more tamed fury way. It has a simliar bonnet and nose to the Zonda and also a similar shaped cabin. Unchanged are the four small tailpipes at the rear of the car. I has Zonda features but it looks more grown up.

The interior is as mad as the Zondas. It has circular shaped pedals. It also has a Noble M600 shaped dashboard which contains the usual Pagani accessories.

The Price? As near as makes no difference £1 million. Here's an image
