Yesterdays blog didn't go to well if I'm honest as it was just a Forza is better than Gran Turismo rant with amny insulting remarks to GT but I'm back to proper car news which, I hope, you have come to expect from me.
Firstly we have an update on the Saab story. As you know they've been in the dog house for the last few weeks, well they've been in the dog house for the last few years to be honest but now after all the trouble the Chinese investors have come along and they are safe. When I say safe I mean until the Chinese realise Saab is to making profit what a brick is to floating and decide to sell them off. Despite this pessimistic outlook I am glad that Saab is ok for now and hope they can get on with the business of making a new car to rid them of the mediocrity they currently produce.
Subaru have also announced some news or released some anyway. You may have heard about the new Toyota FT-86 which is a new sports coupe. Well that car is being co produced with Subaru and Subaru will be selling it as the BRZ. The news is that Subaru have finally shown an image of what the car will look like when it goes on sale. It has been the topic of hot debate among the motoring press because the concept was rather pretty. The good news is that the final production verison isn't half bad. The only thing I would like to say is that from the angle I've seen it, it looks like an Audi TT with a longer bonnet.
Other than that I have no news whatsoever that's interesting and requires a whole blog. The cheif designer at Volvo has joined Geely. There seem to be delivery delays on the new Range Rover Evoque. And there has also been news that the cheif Toyota test driver has been killed on a German motorway whilst driving a Lexus LFA.
That really is the end of my blog today, thankyou for reading and I hope you are able to return tomorrow for some more motoring gossip. I leave you with a picture of the BRZ.
