And so it seems with the Bugatti Veryon. Yes we're talking Geneva here and Bugatti will not step away from the Veryon. The new version is a cabriolet of the SS. Decoded this is the most powerful roadster of all time. But how powerful is it? Well how does as near as makes no difference 1,200bhp sound? Hows about we couple that with 1,100lbs/ft of torque? The result is toasty. 0-60 is done so fast your head will be torn off and the top speed is so high that it'll tear your head off again just to make sure your head has been torn off. It's fast!
Other than that not much has changed if I'm being completely truthful with you. It will still be no better than average in the corners and when it comes to the interior, well that's the same. It also looks the same, no major styling revisions here, at least not like the hard tops.
As far as I can tell the only change is the price tag, it certainly won't make you dance. Because it almost certainly is about the money, money, money and whether or not you've got a lot of it, to waste. Provisionally we're looking at 2.1million pounds. Sadly I fear this means my best hope of owning one will be through Forza Motorsport.
In any case the king is not dead, yet. And you know what? In the era of downsizing and fuel saving, I'm very happy about that.
