I'm choosing to start with the apology. My Internet has been so catastrophically awful recently I haven't blogged in ages. To be honest I can't bear to torture myself trying to use it.
But since it's working at this point in time I'm going to talk about the ultimate urban machine. Nissan claim in their advert for the Qashqai that the aforementioned is the ultimate urban machine. The ad shows the car dodging massive paint balls and skipping over skips and unless I've got my ads confused, doing a massive loop the loop.
It sounds very promising but I can't help but think they're wrong. I say this due to the large amount of money being invested by the motoring industry into creating stupidly small vehicles for urban use. I'm thinking Renault Twizy and Gordon Murrays T25 to name but two of them. My point is that if these pint sized cars are designed to fit in to the tight confines of the city then how in the blue hell is a larger than a hatchback SUV crossover the ultimate machine for the urban environment.
Unless if Nissan is correct and everyone else in the trade is wrong then what you need to survive in the city is a car that is large, not that nimble (despite the advert) and in base spec sluggish. It's also quite thirsty in comparison with the smaller cars. In fact everything we're being told to believe the ultimate urban machine is, Nissans Qashqai isn't.
That's really what I wanted to say on this matter. For now I say asta la vista baby.
Oh and the Bugatti Veryon Super Sport is s***! Bazinga, you just fell for one of my stupendous practical jokes.
