Let me just make one thing clear before I do this quick thought to paper blog. I know not the details or specifications of this car! I'm telling you my first first impressions and only my first impressions.
First things first is that the metallic silver body as shown in the first press released images is reminiscent of the Veryon Chrome special edition. I do think that it gives the car a grand and luxurious air. I also think that it makes it seem more of a Rolls Royce Phantom rival. At this point I'm not sure that it's meant to be this!
Yet there's a problem. Unlike the Veryon I don't think the Galibier is a good looking car. From the side on it looks like a Porsche Panamera. Disgusting in other words! The front end looks uncannily like a taller Veryon! And from the back? Chrysler Crossfire with a Bugatti badge.
Now at this point I'm not going to say it's ugly! Get that right out of your head because it isn't. I'd say it is odd however, and strangely unlikeable. I'm just not sure. Maybe it is ugly. Is that the reason I don't look and like? Maybe, after all I hate the G Whizz and that is undeniably revolting!
The biggest gripe though is that odd looking cars have a habit of not being so good. It's a worry! Enough said.
