Having No Feel.

Having no feel is horrible. If a review mentions lack of feel in the steering wheel stand up and pay attention because I have been experiencing this sensation in my car.

I'm not sure why but ever since it's MOT the steering has felt light. It's dreadful because at low speeds it's fine but at motorway speeds, 60 onwards, it's a chuffing nightmare. I can't help myself sawing at the wheel. I do this in an attempt to gain an understanding of what the tarmac below me is like. I just always get the feeling that when I turn my wheel to take a corner, nothing is going to happen. It's actually hard to describe the exact sensation as every so often I feel a jolt come through my hands but the wheel is so light and lacking in any kind of other feel that it's rather meaningless.

I guess the statement 'nothing is going to happen' is wrong because I always think I'm going to go straight on and crash. Scary I can tell you.

ps I would re-read your post and edit it. There are a few silly mistakes. Try reading it slowly and out loud. Feel free to delete my comment when you are finished!
