New Fastest Car Ever!

Hello Nic. This is for you.

There has been an on going war. The war of fastest car ever made in the production sector. It started when an F1 team decided to make a road car. It was called the F1 and was made by Mclaren. There car acheived 231mph and many road testers bleated endlessly about it saying this is an almighty achievement that shall never be topped!

Then some bloke form Germany who owns Volkswagon and has lots of money to waste, decided he didn't like the Mclaren very much! So he set some wheels in motion. It started with his buying of a dead Italian supercar company called Bugatti. He then told his engineers that he wanted to make a car that could do 253mph and everyone called him mad as a result. They made it anyway and the resulting car emerged from a factory in France (of all places) and did 253mph. Again much bleating commenced and the phrase never to be beaten was used again.

The Americans watched all this and decided that they had always been the gods of straight line speed. And so Carol Shelby created a new division of his company and called it Shelby Super Cars! He then made a car that was so ultimate he called it the Ultimate Aero! He then made up a number that was bigger than the Veryons top speed and said it'll do 276mph. It didn't but it did do 256 which meant he had done it.

But before he did that Bugatti and their Veryon were put under pressure from the Swedes. A car company called Koenigsegg made a car called the CCX. It almost killed the Stig it was so fast but it only did 248mph. Never mind.

Bugatti had had enough of all this "we are better than the Veryon" rubbish and an engineer said the engine in the Veryon, comprised of two Audi 4.2l V8s' welded together with an extra four turbocharges and considerately modified and enhanced, was capable of twice as much power than the 1,001bhp it already produced. He explained the reason it doesn't is because it would blow up with heat! But it did start a rumour that Bugatti were working on a Veryon send off car known as a faster Veryon.

A few days ago the faster Veryon emerged and had 1,200bhp under the area where there would normally be a engine cover. It then did 268mph because it felt like it! This is a momentus occasion because finally I won't have to put with people calling me a liar for saying the Veryon could go faster (it was Americans that were calling me it) and the Americans can shut their faces and go back to being losers.

And that brings you up to date on the war for more speed. Who knows when a car will come along and do 500mph just to annoy Bugatti? After all it would have to be just to annoy because only Mclaren made any profit on the cars they sold!
