Why the Hushed Tones?

Again no followers yet so short one.

Yeah hushed tones. Well not really, it's just a catchy title but I want to talk dealers. And the word right there, dealers. Why do we call establishments that sell cars dealers? I don't know why I have a problem with it but someone said it to me the other day in hushed tones and it sounded like he could have been talking to me about drug dealers. In fact we needn't even call them dealers. May as well call them sellers so that it goes better with salesmen. Then again maybe I'm just reading too much into it!

I've been known to do so many a time in the past. That's read too much into things, not drugs!
