The Truth!

About Motoring Journalism! As a blogger and a driver you can construct a viable arguement to suggest that I'm just an unemployed journalist who is continuing his work until times get better for him.

Factually speaking you may be right! It seems that I spend more time writing about cars than I do actually driving them. Sort of a given in an odd way. I'm still a learner in honesty as have only really driven these three cars: Citroen AX Echo 1.1i, Vauxall Corsa Ecoflex and a 2006 Fiesta Diesel with a 1.3l engine.

In this blog I will probably find myslef blogging for less time than I do driving. Contradiction on my previous statement? Not so. You see as well as Blogger I can be found on Driver Republic, Autocar, Gametrailers, KartKidChun.Webs and Youtube. Getting round and updating all my profiles is rather hard.

The truth about motoring journalism then? In particular those who love cars and think it might be all driving fast and drifting Ferrari's. It isn't! You need to be prepared to sit down for hours (maybe not on end) writing about what you've driven. One thing you need almost more than the ability to guide an M3 around Silverstone therefor is ......... A passion for writing and informing.

Luckily for yours truly, I have that. I almost prefer the writing to the driving! ALMOST!
